Cloud Data Management has been in existence since 2010 and was formed to bring together expertise in operational management for European companies running factories in Asia. It was originally formed in the UK but in 2014 was established in the US.
The only reasonable way for enterprises to control critical engineering, production and quality control data across multiple continents on numerous sites was to use a cloud based data management system. Several platforms were evaluated and finally Teamdesk infrastructure was chosen. The result of being able to build responsive databases rapidly with seamless user access control as well as build robust workflow processes such as engineering change control was beyond the original scope and led to target exceeding performance. Numerous projects have since been completed.
